In the expansive and dynamic Southwest United States, home to over 2 million registered commercial vehicles traversing vast highways across Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, California, and beyond, the Truck Owners and Drivers Association of the Southwest (TODA-SW) serves as a beacon of unity and empowerment for the region’s trucking community. With a mission to foster collaboration, advocate for industry interests, and champion safety and innovation within the southwestern transportation sector, TODA-SW is committed to driving positive change.
The trucking industry is the lifeblood of the Southwest’s economy, facilitating the movement of goods and materials essential to commerce and growth. TODA-SW recognizes the significant role trucking plays, as it moves over 70% of the region’s freight, totaling billions of tons annually. Amidst this activity, safety remains paramount, with over 25% of all fatal crashes in the Southwest involving large trucks.
